Ramu Temple,

Ramu is known for monasteries, temples, and various Buddhist statues and images. The most important sightseeing attraction of the place is a beautiful Buddhist Temple near Bakkhali on the Tiger canal. Various Buddhist relics and Burmese handicrafts are available here. The Rangkut Bonasram Buddha Bihar is the oldest temple in the area and is said to have been set up in 338 BC. The 100-feet golden-colored reclining statue of Lord Buddha, located at the Vimukti Bibeshan Bhabna Kendra Temple is considered to be the world’s third-largest Buddha statue. Two other attractions of the place are coconut garden and rubber garden. The coconut garden with one million trees over 200 acres is one of the largest coconut gardens in South Asia.

Chhera Dwip

Chhera Island is an uninhabited island and extension of St. Martin's Island at the mouth of the Naf River in the Bay of Bengal, within the Chittagong Division of southeastern Bangladesh.

Chhera Dwip, which is a part of St. Martin’s island gets separated during tides. If the connecting land is not submerged, you can take two and a half hours to walk to this place. Alternatively, you can take a motorboat. On this Island, you will find the Corals – living and dead all over the place. A small bush is there which is the only green part of Chhera Dwip.

How To Go
You can reach Teknaf from any part of the country by Bus, Private car. Carey Sindabad, Eagle, LCT Kutubdia, Sea-Truck, Kajal, Sonargaon, Green Line Bay Crew (AC) can cross the Bay of Bengal in two-and-a-half hours to reach St. Martin from Teknaf. If the connecting land is not submerged, you can take two and a half hours to walk to this place. Alternatively, you can take a motorboat.

Saint Martin

Saint Martin’s, the one and only coral island of Bangladesh, is a small island measuring eight square kilometers. The visible landmass sinks during the tide. Alternatively called the pearl of the sea, it is about 10 km from the mainland at teknaf. The safest means of transport is the government-owned ferry which takes around two hours one way. Tourists have the option to spend a few hours and return the same day or stay for one or two days. Due to ferry’s timing, one and a half days tour is practical. Relaxation and fun on the picturesque place of blue sky and coconut trees, swimming in crystal blue water, snorkeling in the lagoon, and walking in the fresh air will be a lifetime experience. The seafood with its variety and taste has an appeal. There are a good number of hotels, guest houses, and eateries. There are a scuba diving facility and a sea turtle hatchery. Since it is a small island one can tour the entire area on foot in a few hours. The permanent residents of the island, numbering around 8,000, are all fishermen.

Sonadia Island

Sonadia Island, a small island of nine square kilometers of Cox’s Bazaar, is a sanctuary for migratory birds such as petrels, snipes, shanks, lapwings, geese, ducks and other waterfowls. A number of rare species of marine lives such as green turtles and red crabs can be seen here. The island is the biggest dry fish producer of the country, where interested tourists will get the opportunity to know the process of drying fish.

Sonadia Island is surrounded by the sea beach on the three sides. On the other hand, the natural small trees, canals, and different types of birds and sea-animals have made the place unique and attractive. In addition, the island is called the heaven of birds. Some of the birds are Petrels, Snipe, Greenshank, Teether, and various kinds of duck. Notably, people started to live here only 100-150 years ago.

How To Go
If you like to visit the Island, you have to reach Maheshkhali Ghat or Kasturi Ghat of Cox’s Bazar. Speed Boats and Trawlers are available to go to the Island.

Inani Beach

Inani Beach (also Enani Beach) is an 18-kilometer-long (11 mi) sea beach in Ukhia Upazila of Cox's Bazar District, Bangladesh. It has a lot of coral stones, which are very sharp. These coral stones look black and green, and they are found in summer or rainy seasons.

Pathorkhani is located in Jaliapalong, Inani Beach. Almost all of the visitors gather around it and love to take snapshots by sitting on it.

Sunrise from this beach is a memorable lifetime experience. The clean blue and shark-free water are suitable for bathing and swimming without any fear. The water stored in between stones accommodates small sea-fish, crabs, snails, and many more.

Cox's Bazar Sea Beach

Cox's Bazar is a city, fishing port, tourism center, and district headquarters in southeastern Bangladesh. It is famous mostly for its long natural sandy beach, and it is infamous for the largest refugee camp in the world. It is located 150 km (93 mi) south of the divisional headquarter city of Chittagong. Cox's Bazar is also known by the name Panowa, which translates literally as "yellow flower". Another old name was "Palongkee".

The modern Cox's Bazar derives its name from Captain Hiram Cox, an officer of the British East India Company, a Superintendent of Palongkee outpost. To commemorate his role in refugee rehabilitation work, a market was established and named after him.

Himchari National Park

Himchari National Park is a major national park and nature reserve in Bangladesh. The park is located at Ramu and Cox's Bazar Sadar Upazila, Cox's Bazar District, in the southeast region of the country. It is located mainly on the hills and is adjoining to the Bay of Bengal to the west. Himchari National Park covers approximately 1,729 ha (17.29 km2) of mixed evergreen forests Biome. It was declared a protected area in 1980.

Himchari National Park is Established in 1980 with an area of 1729 ha, the Himchari Park is a beautiful tropical forest with more than 100 species of trees. It is near the town of Cox’s Bazar. The Park is enriched with 55 species of mammals. 13 species of amphibians, 56 species of reptiles, 117 species of plants, and 286 species of different kinds of birds. There are stairs to ride to the top of the hill from where a spectacular view of green hills and blue water is available. The park has a small waterfall. The nearby sea beach is a popular beach with red crabs.
